Family Respite Care Of Nevada (Formerly RAVE)
Family Respite Care of Nevada, formerly the Northern Nevada R.A.V.E. Family Foundation, has been dedicated to empowering families since its inception in October 1995. Initially established with the support of a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, our organization focused on combating child abuse and neglect among children with special needs and disabilities. Over the past 28 years, we have continually evolved, expanding our services to include exceptional respite care, while maintaining our core mission of providing critical support to families in need.
In April 2024, we transitioned to a new name that more accurately reflects our mission to enhance the well-being of families by offering respite care to caregivers of children with special needs. This change underscores our commitment to clarity and reinforces our dedication to delivering essential assistance. We are profoundly grateful for the support and relationships we have built over the years, which inspire us to continue our work with optimism and dedication. Our legacy of service remains a guiding beacon as we move forward, providing care, compassion, and the invaluable "Gift of Time" to families throughout Nevada.
