What began as a local response to a gap in services quickly flourished, leading to a strategic move in 1991 to a custom-equipped facility at 776 Silver St. Over the years, Thurston Laboratories, LLC has played a crucial role in shaping the Elko landscape, contributing to projects ranging from schools and streets to commercial giants like Maverick Hotel and Casino, Sunrise Shopping Center, and major retail outlets.
In 2023, Thurston Laboratories, LLC transitioned into the modern era as the second generation took the helm. Rebranded to reflect an expanded service portfolio, our commitment to innovation was underscored by the initiation of a research program focused on advancing the use of exotic materials in construction.
