Family Resource Center is hosting a free ONLINE Teen Health program for youth in grades 5-7 (ages 10-12) in any of the following Nevada counties: Elko, Humboldt, Lander, Pershing, Eureka, and White Pine. Presented using Zoom on Saturday, Sept. 30th from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Permission slips are required, signed by parent/guardian before class. Participants that complete a full session of the program will receive their choice of a FREE incentive, either a backpack filled with school supplies OR a $25 store gift card. **One free incentive allowed per child per year.**

Participants will need access to a computer, tablet, or smart phone as well as headphones and as private of a workspace as possible. Class will be live via Zoom.
"Promoting Health Among Teens" is a lively, evidence-based, age appropriate program, proven effective in reducing the risk of sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, and teen pregnancy. This program incorporates medically accurate information along with crucial knowledge on how to identify and handle social pressures. Youth learn about adolescence, hygiene, responsibility, avoiding risky behaviors, and build knowledge and confidence.
