Details
This is a free event for the community. People are welcome to drop in from 2:00pm and on, eat and socialize, and leave when they're ready. Food will be constantly coming out throughout the event, until we finally close the doors at approximately 8pm, or when the crowd dies down. Community members are also more than welcome to help us pack up to go plates to take to the encampment at the edge of town.
We are seeking donations for this event. Donations in the form of grocery store gift cards, food items of every type that will help make the menu, and cash contributions are greatly appreciated. We are also looking for community members who are willing to allow us the use of their stove to help cook all of the turkeys! This only requires the person to take the turkey or ham (already in a pan and seasoned and covered) to their home, put it in the oven at the specified temperature for the specified amount of time, and then bring it back. We are also seeking volunteers to help clean up, serve food, clear tables, etc. All help is appreciated!
