FREE Teen Health program for ages 10-12! Promoting Health Among Teens is a lively, evidence-based, age appropriate teen health program, proven effective in reducing the risk of sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, and teen pregnancy. This program incorporates medically accurate information along with crucial knowledge on how to identify and handle peer pressure. Details:
Held at the Family Resource Center, 331 7th St. in Elko on Thurs., Jan. 17 and Fri., Jan. 18 from 3:30pm-6:30pm both days. Youth must attend BOTH DAYS of class to receive free incentives. Permission slips are required, signed by parent/guardian.
Those who attend both full sessions of the program will receive a FREE backpack filled with school supplies OR a $25 store gift card (Marshall's or JCPenney). Parents of youth who attend both sessions will receive a FREE $15 gas card after class on the last day. **One free incentive allowed per child per year.**
